Checkatrade Abandoned Us in a Pinch

We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to find us a trustworthy contractor for our home improvement. We registered and advertised our requirements, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

Think twice before you fall for Checkatrade. Their whole operation is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left screwed and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky costs, which they hide in the legalese. Then, there's the terrible customer service that's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to complain, but it's like chasing ghosts.

So, avoid them like the plague of Checkatrade if you value your time.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable check here plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so legitimate with their qualified traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

First, the response from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and gave us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling angry and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My story with Checkatrade became a total disaster. I engaged a trader through their service to complete some vital home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it turned out a appalling ordeal.
